The North Dinosaur Trail (Hwy 838) is in the heart of the Badlands. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking.
It is close to Drumheller and the Royal Tyrrell Museum, so there is no excuse to skip this one.
The Ferry is a must. Not only because it's free, but it is one of a kind.
You wouldn't know that you are getting close, it's fields as usual.
Then a curve and the road goes down. First glimps of the badlands.
