The Trail passes Cache Lake with a view to the old Railway bridge in the distance. See the Cache Lake for pictures of the bridge.

The Tack & Tower is usually open during the winter. Open means that the parking lot is plowed. The trail may require snowshoes and some of the passages are steep and icy.
