Batteries and Inverter

Battery charge consuption for different appliances and equipment.

We installed two CANBAT 100 Amp LiFePO₄ batteries and the Rich Solar 3000 Watt inverter in our trailer as a stand-alone system. Two reasons, the new trailer is still under construction and we decided to test the batteries and inverter out in the wild. We didn't install the solar panels and need to recharge with the CANBAT Lithium Battery Charger.

From CANBAT in BC, we purchased the following equipment.

This document keeps track of the power consumption of different applicances.

We used 2% for the Galaxy S23 Ultra (26%) and the Galaxy Watch (56%) to full charge.

We used 3% of the capacity for two coffees in the Nespresso Vertuo machine. The machine uses around 1000 Watts, but only for a very short time.

We used 4% for the Lenovo Thinkpad with half a battery charge plus two external disks. After one hour of laptop use and doing video editing. The laptop batteries were almost full after this one hour.

We used 5% for charging the three 4.2 Amps DJI AIR3 drone batteries. We charged them from 50% to 100%.
