Old Woman Bay

We drove south on hwy 17, shortly after entering the Lake Superior Provincial Park, we got a glimps of the sandy beach of Old Woman Bay. This place is even nicer than it looks from the road.

We arrived here shortly after 8pm to watch the sunset. We had to take off our shoes and walk in the sand along the beach. The bleached driftwood invited us to sit down and enjoy the sound of the waves.

When the last sun rays were gone, so were the visitors. We had the beach to ourselves. We spent a few more minutes to take in the peacful scenery. Oh, and to get the sand off our feet and slip into the shoes again. We have to plan more time next time.
