Riding Mountain Park, Manitoba
The Riding Mountain National Park has a large bison range. We added the GPS coordinates for all the trails to our catalog. We didn't have much time for the trails, but the bison were truly impressive.

Upgrades and gadgets Modifications in and around the Jeep that get us on the road and keep us safe. The most obvious is better lights on and off road. Stronger breaks for the increased weight of the trailer and gear. And the electrical system. Yeah, the electrical like battery, diode, converter, generator, solar panel, power pack, cable gauge and amperage. Sorry, we couldn't make it rhyme.
Master Plan to Jeep Upgrades
We had to solve the battery problem, trailer connection, CB radio, backup camera and breaks. We needed more light around the Jeep. For worry-free adventures, we built a sleeping platform and window covers. This is an ongoing process.
DIY Sleeping Platform in Jeep JK
Do-It-Yourself project for a sleeping platform in the Jeep Wrangler JK with moderate effort. There is enough room for two adults.
DIY Window Covers
Do-It-Yourself window covers for privacy and condensation. Louvers for air flow. Window Socks to keep the biting insects out.
DIY Campfire Heat Reflector
We built the panels to reflect the heat from the camping fire. As it turns out, we used it almost exclusively around our JetBoil gas stove.
Recovery Gear
Hi-Lift Jack, Tow Straps, Axe, Saw, Traction Pads and the list goes on. The question was, do we really need a winch? Our answer was no.
